A family-friendly chain with frenchy décor that somehow works and feels cosy. Great for bigger meet ups - even with prams! They have a big space in the back of the ground floor and a great room upstairs that's also available for birthday parties! Good deals for breakfast and an impressive amount of high chairs make this a very convincing place for mums and dads - weekdays and on the weekend.

We love the England`s Lane branch and their irresistible carrot cake. They are also very child friendly: children`s books, babyccinos made with marshmallows and lots of love, etc. These two intimate little places offer great, strong coffee (maybe a touch too bitter for some)and good -mainly british- food in a simple, yet stylish and comfortable setting. When it*s sunny and warm, it*s amazing to sit outside watching the world go by on England*s Lane or in lovely Perrin*s Court.

The Hemsleys WHO? Meet Sonia and Hayet, two fun French sisters, who offer an eclectic menu of sweet and savoury delicious foods and drinks using un-refined, chemical-free healthy alternatives. DON'T BRING YOUR PRAM but they are very baby and child-friendly. Or come for a restoring break away from the kids in this lovely, comfy café! LLS stands for London's Latest Scandal which is even more fitting since Sonya and Hayat recently got an alcohol license granted to some Hampstead neighbours' discontent... We love some scandal and will certainly drop in for a glass or two!

Give us this day our daily coffee -and granola pot... This amazing little grocer/cafe/deli/concept store has been our lifesaver many a day. Their soy cappuccino is our absolute favourite and so is the above mentioned granola pot (which is terribly addictive and for sure not as healthy as it is made out to be..) They also have delicious breads, salads, sausage rolls, etc should you ever run out of lunch/dinner ideas or -ingredients (which of course never happens) ;) Babyccinos are not free -but ask for a stamp card with smileys, then the 9th one is!

Oliver's is probably the most child and family-friendly cafe in Pramstead: it has a childrens' menu, is available for party hires, offers craft afternoons, etc Oliver's is a family-run, independent cafe opened in 2008 to provide a creative outlet for Oliver and an environment for him to learn and work in. Oliver was diagnosed with autism as a child, and has come a long way since - check out his fantastic artwork on display! He is also a talented baker and now makes all of the delicious cakes you can savour in the cafe or take home.

Pamban - Chai & Coffee House Named after the island and bridge between India ..
Named after the island and bridge between India and Sri Lanka this modern, airy space chai and coffee house in a listed old brick building at the heart of Camden Market is the love child of two university friends. Lots of pram parking space, a baby play corner and a very tolerant, friendly and welcoming attitude make this the perfect place to enjoy the best organic coffee or lovingly made, proper chai you could imagine while your baby or children play and you won’t get any odd looks but rather might meet your new best friend enjoying an Indian spiced rice porridge at the neighbouring table.

No introduction necessary. But did you know they offer free babyccinos? Always good for a quick & easy, pram-friendly meet-up and a nappy change. And after the recent refurbishment the restrooms on England`s Lane are much nicer too. Generally we prefer to support local, independent cafes though.

This is a brilliant restaurant for birthday parties, family gatherings etc! It has a beautiful garden and lovely play area in the back to enable you to enjoy your lunch/dinner while the children are doing their thing. Relatively new to Camden, this is a world-renowned Russian chain producing the most delicious fresh pies.

There are many reasons why this place is absolutely crowded every weekend –and not only then… So make sure you book in advance especially during peak times! The food is of very high standard and the waiters/waitresses always do their very best for everyone. We love everything with eggs at their amazing brunch and the often unusual but very healthy and delicious specials like unusual salads, etc. This is also a lovely place for a calm dinner away from the kids during week days and we are shamefully jealous of the fancy ladies enjoying cocktail time Mondays to Fridays between 5 and 7pm…! During the weekends it can be too busy and noisy for some (especially if that stresses you on top of bringing the kids) They are very kids-friendly though with plastic mugs, crayons and papers all ready, along with high chairs and rooms for prams whenever possible. The only downside is that the babyccino is £1,50 which we find ridiculously overprized.

They seriously upped their game over the last year. While The Engineer and The Lansdowne are continuously going downhill as their service is basically non-existing and the food is not worth waiting, suffering and paying for, The Princess serves good food from your favourite roast, over delicious salads and serious gastropub-like dishes. They are definitely baby-, child- and pram-friendly and offer great meeting spaces for regular mums/Dad meet ups, birthday parties, etc They even serve breakfast/brunch now and of course we also love their wine and cocktail selection…

Our favourite coffee in Primrose Hill (even the decaf and/or soy milk version!) And finally someone understood that parents and other people are up early, wanting and deserving a place on the highstreet where to get their much needed coffee well earlier than 10am -thank you!! Apart from that we love their delicious homemade muffins and cakes, their daily fresh salads, soups and sandwiches, the energy balls and the staff`s friendly smiles. Aaand you get a FREE babyccino for your child if you have a coffee/cappuccino!
